We met Cinco de Mayo 2017 at a mexican restaurant in Denham Springs. It just so happened that my friend Brandi and his friend Zane were dating and we were all invited as a big group of people. About a month later I was watching John Wick 2. (Such a great movie) I posted about it on Facebook and Drew responded. We messaged each other several times, then all day the next day like we were best friends. We never ran out of things to talk about.

I needed more Drew time so we went to dinner as friends to see one another. Dinner went great and we could've chatted for hours. (Then there was the awkward goodbye that involved no hug) haha! I asked him out to see a movie the next night. Wonder Woman!! Yassss!!!!   He accepted. Of course. Why wouldn't he!

The second night we met for mexican, (there's a trend happening here) then saw the movie. It was a great movie! By now you've all seen it. (Then there was that awkward no hug situation again!) We met Brandi and Zane for drinks. (yet another trend) There was something about him that I just could not explain and I knew he would be a special part of my life but I didn't know how special just yet. 

The third night a large group of us went to a concert along with Brandi and Zane. Yea. I know, Trend. Well let me rephrase that a concert where the band did not show up at the Texas Club. Shocker!!

That was the night of the first kiss and when I woke up the next morning (cough cough) I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this human. So here we are 1 year later and that is what I plan to do. Spend every day for the rest of my life loving him whole heartily and growing old with him. <3
