The Proposal

We had talked about "when we're married" but we had never talked about actually getting married. So it was a complete surprise when he DID propose. We were away on a little "getaway" to Santa Cruz, hiking in the redwoods. We stopped for a picnic near this giant tree that had a beautiful view of the ocean. The fog was just clearing. As he unloaded the picnic goodies from his backpack, the ring box fell out and landed right at my feet! It was quite how he had planned it but it was still very sweet and romantic. He immediately dropped to his knee, picked up the box and asked me to marry him!

The Wedding

We will be getting married at sunset (please come at 6 p.m.) at the stunning Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun Resort.

We have had many wonderful vacations at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun and wanted to return to begin our new life together.

We will have traditional wedding music playing and a beautiful white sand beach as our backdrop and delicate flower petals sprinkled on the sandy aisle.

The Reception

Our reception will be at Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun immediately following the ceremony. We will have a sit down dinner, followed by lots of dancing and lots of champagne!

The Honeymoon

Because we love Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun so much, and because we want to spend as much time as possible with our loved ones, we will also enjoy our honeymoon here! We plan to spend several days after the wedding with family and friends and sharing the beauty of Riviera Cancun with all of you. After, we will pamper ourselves with massages and spa treatments, lots of romantic walks on the beach, candlelit dinners for two, and discovering the hidden gems of Riviera Cancun!
