A girls night out in August of 2011, a handsome blue-eyed man caught my eye. We were at Bakers Street Pub & Grill in Tulsa. I had met up with some girlfriends there before we headed out dancing. Little did i know i was being 'set-up' by one of my girlfriends to meet Will, the best man. Will was having a great time tipping a few back while his best friend sat quietly over by the door. That Best friend was Cory Reich, the man who caught my eye and stole my heart. As the girls and I were leaving i asked Cory several times to come out dancing with us, and he declined. Oh well, off we went. A few months later in October, Cory was out with some friends at the Caravan, and so was I. He came over after he had some 'liquid courage' and asked me to dance. Several times. After i declined, he proceeded to ask all of my girlfriends, and they declined also. He offered to buy me more drinks so I would go 2- step with him. I declined again. He was pretty bummed and walked away. Little did he know, i remembered those blue eyes. For some crazy reason a few days later, I decided to hit up our mutual friend and get his info. I made the move and contacted him. We connected instantly and within a few days, we had our first date to the Reba concert at the BOK Center. That night was awesome! We sang along, laughed, met each others friends, felt Oklahoma's earthquakes, he drove down the wrong side of the road down town, and... it was then.... we fell for each other. :)

A few years later, April 9th, 2013, I had a ring burning a hole in my pocket. Little did she know, i had ordered the ring a few weeks back and had been trying to figure out how to ask her to marry me. I told a few people, but she had no idea. I had some great ideas, but decided to just do it that day, on a Tuesday. I took her mom to lunch that day and thought I was busted. She called her mom just as I picked her up. Carol told her, "im going on a hot date for lunch today, with Cory." Alicia texted me and said "what are you up to?" haha. I just played it off and hoped she didnt suspect anything. I had contacted her father also. That afternoon i picked up roses, made a play list of our songs on my Iphone, and decided to just do it. I was going to take her to Woodward Park then to dinner at Bonefish Grill (our first dinner date). The weather wasnt cooperating that night and Alicia told me she wasnt up for going out to dinner. So my plans, well they changed. I put the rose petals from the garage/utility room door all the way to the living room, where i waited. I lit all of her candles i could find and started the play list when she walked in. I was pretty nervous, but ready. She came in and walked around the corner with tears in her eyes. She knew then. After a few minutes, I asked her. She said "absolutely". And here we are!

Our wedding will be simple, sweet, and unforgettable. We are happy to share this day with our close friends and family at the Secrets Capri. We love the beach and wanted to make this day memorable. Wont be long, we will be officially married!
