We went to school together but did not really know each other until we were in 8th grade and the summer following 8th grade we started dating.  We were pretty inseparable all through high school where we built the foundation of our relationship.  

After high school life took us in different directions - different colleges, military, new friends, new jobs but throughout it all we always ended up back with one another.
