We had already talked about "when we are married" but I was still surprised when he proposed! We were at dinner on formal night of the cruise. Right before dessert came, he took my hand and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, got on one knee, and asked me to marry him. Even though he made a scene, I still said "YES!"
