Our love story began in back in 2017. We met and seemed to hit it off really well. We were friends first and dated a little. We were both pretty newly divored. So after a couple of months Ron decided he only wanted to be friends, but then dated other people and we didn't talk besides just checking on each other occassionally. (He's know's I'll always give him a hard time about it.) A few days before Christmas, after a couple of months of no communication, I got a text from him. He said he had some extra BBQ and asked if I wanted any for my family's Christmas parties. I told him sure, and my sister and I went to his house to pick it up on Christmas eve. We talked and our kids played (both of our boys have gotten along from the beginning). After we left, Ron and I continued to text and keep in touch and shortly after Christmas we got together for the first time. We've been inseperable since. He now says thank goodness for BBQ. I know I fell in love him over a year ago and told my mom that if things worked out, I was going to marry him. I think we both had to heal from our previous marriages to be fully ready and prepared to love each other. |
