On January 29th, 2015, Lizzie and Mark were both living in the big apple. He had been there for six years and she had only been there for five months. Lizzie was working as a bartender and Mark was a carpenter for theater. Both of them at the time had been active in online dating. Lizzie more so than Mark... It only took a mere two weeks for Mark to be on 'Ok Cupid' and meet a girl named Lizzie. That girl had been on 'Ok Cupid' for almost 6 months. They discovered each others online profile's and instantly messaged each other. Well... Mark messaged her when she was looking at his pictures :) They immedietly exchanged numbers and set a date to meet that Saturday. And apparently it couldn't wait. Mark took a chance and texted Lizzie that Thursday to see if she wanted to go see a friend of his sing in a band. Next thing they knew, they spent all night together up until 4am. The most memorable thing was that when they went to Karaoke that night, Mark did a split and split his pants! With little time to go home and change, Mark was scheduled to head up a rigging gig at 7am. So he went with split pants and turquoise underwear. For the next two weeks, they spent every minute together. Not one night was spent alone. And every chance they had to see each other, they took it. Three months later, Mark moved in with Lizzie. Two months following that, they said "I Love You" at Laura John's wedding. And exactly one day after their one year anniversary, Mark proposed in central park with a beautiful puppy named Penny.
