Our Story

We're finally getting married after almost 8 years together!  It still feels like yesterday when I showed up for what I thought was a girls night with my sisters, only to see a somewhat familiar man standing outside the house.  Caught off guard, by this alluring stranger wearing nothing but swim shorts and ball cap, I frantically asked one of my sisters if this was the Little Curtis I had met years before.  Turned out yes, and Little Curtis was all grown up now!  Later that day, Curt got my number from one of my sisters and asked me out on a date.  Reluctant, I argued with my sister about going on a date with a guy so much younger than me, who also had a little girl, but she said there was no harm in having a little fun and to not be so serious about it.  Well I could be casual with a younger guy, sure, why not?  But Curt had other plans.  

Raising teenagers and a little girl right off the go of our relationship, there would be nothing we would not triumph together.  Every challenge we have faced has always offered us one of two options: together or apart.  The love, respect, and trust we have for eachother has kept us facing forward, ready to make whatever changes necessary to continue our life together.  Our four beautiful children are the perfect example of our love and devotion to our family.

We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives together.  Thank you for sharing this special day with us and making the trip out to Costa Rica.  We can't wait to see you January 29th!
