"Nice to meet you, again..."  

Sharde and Gary have both worked at Walgreens for 15 years.  They crossed paths only a few times never knowing what true love had in store for them.  It wasn't until they attended a birthday party for a mutual friend that they had their first in-depth conversation.  During this conversation, Gary was politely ordering refills for Sharde's non-alcoholic beverage, and discussing the fun things to do in Saint Louis.  He quickly realized that the only two places she was familiar with were work and home.  With the most puzzled look on his face he then jokingly asked her "Where are you from again?" The sparks between the two have been flying ever since!

A few of Sharde and Gary's favorite memories from their time together:  Family Fun Time in the Lake of the Ozarks, 5- day Animal Safari traveling through Tanzania Africa, Riding camels in the deserts of Abu Dhabi, Enjoying Dinner in the Sky in Dubai, Indoor Sky-Diving in Seattle Washington, and their date nights to help Sharde familiarize herself with her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Gary proposed to Sharde on the 4th of July 2021.  They were getting ready for the festivities that they were hosting at their residence that afternoon when Gary popped the question.  In true Sharde fashion, Beyonce was playing in the background as she was doing last-minute touch-ups on her hair and makeup.  She was so shocked seeing him on one knee when she peeped out of the bathroom into the bedroom, that she locked herself in the bathroom to gather herself, but Gary was right there outside of the door awaiting her.  Gary would always have trouble remembering their anniversary which is on July 1st, so Sharde always reminded him the way to remember it was to say "the 1st of July, like the 4th of July".  Needless to say, when he proposed on the 4th of July it added that much more humor, joy, and laughter to their story.  

Sharde and Gary are super excited to announce that they are getting married in an intimate ceremony in Montego Bay, Jamaica on Friday, July 1st, 2022, the day of the 4 year anniversary!
