We were engaged September 3rd, 2005 on the stage at the Fair, in the beer tents, in front of 500-1000 people. Total embarrassment, but sweet. Ironically, our dog Maggie, was born the same day!

Our wedding ceremony will take place at 4:00 PM on the shores of Lake Minnetonka at BayView Event Center in historic Excelsior, MN. It will be an outdoor ceremony performed by Pastor Melanie Potuznik, a good friend of Kelly's since 7th grade. We love the lakes and found this to be the perfect place to combine both the ceremony and the reception. This date of Sunday, September 17th was specially picked as it is Grandma Armstrong's 91st birthday and the following day is Grandma Shaughnessy's 86th birthday.

Our reception will flow from the indoors to the outdoors. We want to have a fun, cocktail type atmosphere to celebrate. Our food will be Italian style, at chef stations and there will be no formal sit down. Just eat, drink and have fun! After the food, get ready to dance!

Please stay in one of the nearby hotels so you can hang out late! We will have some type of transportation arranged at the end of the night!
