Our Story

April 15, 2007 the day I logged onto my computer to find a friend request from "Joe Mac". With the millions of Myspace users out there, how he singled me out still amazes me. There we began an online friendship! He will probaly tell you about the time I got cold feet for what should have been our 1st date, but I left him waiting at Starbucks (& I LOVE Starbucks...) When, in his persistance,he called me back for another date, it left me wondering, then said he'd get me some "pink fuzzy slippers" & then I thought I have to meet this guy! We went Yuko's Habachi restaurant for lunch & it was the best decision of my life. I found a man who is respectful, genuine, trustworthly, hardworking, supportive, creative, caring and considerate! Not to mention have so much in common like our addiction to coffee, love for photography, all things artistic and most of all sharing the same family values. When you meet that special someone who is an inspiration that brings out the best in you & you cannot imagine living a day without them... you just know it. Yet his proposal was a HUGE surprise on June 13, 2008 after I caught a good friend's bouquet at her wedding (it was a setup), it felt like everyone on earth knew but me! From the day we met until now our love for eachother has grown into something so precious & unexplainable. I can't wait to spend forever loving such a wonderful man.

Our Wedding

Our Wedding will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Kenner, Louisiana. This is the peak of our hurricane season... so please join with me in our prayers that a horriable storm will not rain on this wonderful day we have planned for so long! We chose to have the ceremony at a charming little park called the Kenner Pavilion. The short & sweet ceremony will be held outdoors in the courtyard behind the Pavilion at 6:00pm.

Our Reception

Immediately following the ceremony we invite you inside the Pavilion to celebrate our new lifes together as Mr. & Mrs. Mackenroth! There will be pleanty of delicious New Orleans original food, open bar, a chocolate fountain with great dipping items, and wedding cake of course! Enjoy an evening of good music & dancing with us until 10pm.
