Well, well, well, our first date started off VERY interesting.

Andre went to MarrLa's house in his black Acura TL ready to go on an amazing date, but was greeted at the door by Ms. Merritt. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Ms. Merritt wouldn't let Andre SEE MarrLa without her having his driver's license and car insurance information. Ms. Merritt was VERY strict when it came to MarrLa, and MarrLa made sure she warned Andre, but this was nothing like he expected.

License, Registration, and Proof of Insurance please! (Officer Merritt!!)

Andre handed it all over with a big smile! And here came MarrLa. (I felt like I would fall down the stairs when I was walking down to greet him.) Finally with the blessing of Ms. Merritt, the two were off to Red Lobster! (yum!)

Dinner was filled with lots of laughs, conversation, and shrimp! It lasted for 2 hours but the night wasn't over.

"Want to go to the movies?"

"Sure! But what's out?"

"I don't know, let's go see."

And there we were, watching "Magic Mountain." Neither of us were interested in the movie, which would explain why we talked through the entire thing! And there it was, the first kiss...and it was HORRIBLE! MarrLa was so nervous! And Andre could tell.

The night ended with a walk to the door and a kiss on the cheek. MarrLa thought she had screwed up, but 15 minutes later, she got a text message "I want you to meet my mom tomorrow"....
