The story of US is an interesting and fun one to tell. I met Angie at a party almost three years ago. I was playing cards with some friends and in walked this cute college girl with some of her girlfriends, it was at this moment I knew I had to meet her and get to know her somehow. Being the gentelmen I am I decided to introduce myself. The introduction didn't go as planned, instead of Angie hearing Dugan, she heard Judy. The rest of that night my name was Judy in her eyes. Being the outgoing, courageous man I am I figured I would ask Angie for her number, but I ended up realizing I am a big wuss and asked her friend for it instead. I asked Angie out about three days later. We had a nice first date where I wined and dined Angie at Applebee's (WHOOPS!!!) A hug ended the night, but began US
Our wedding will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Forest Lake, MN. The ceremony will begin at 2:00p.m. SHARP!! Trust me the SHARP is capotilized for a reason. We would like all of our family and friends to be at the church between 11:00a.m. and 12:00p.m to help us with photos and just to make sure that everyone is comfortable and ready for the ceremony.
Our wedding will be followed by our reception at The American Legion in Forest Lake, MN. The dinner will begin at 5:00p.m. but you are invited to be there early for some mingling and cocktails. The food, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and muchies will be provided. Come prepared with some $ if you would like to purchase any hard alcohol or wine as there will be a bartender with all the needed accomodations. There will be dancing to follow the dinner, the music will be provided by Rocking Roger a local DJ. Believe me, once you see how pumped this guy gets about his gig as a DJ you'll be hoping the music never stops.
We hope that all of you should have easy travels into Forest Lake, MN. The nearest airport to Forest Lake is the Minneapolis International Airport. The airport is less than an hour from Forest Lake. The two main hotels we have rooms blocked off in are Country Inn & Suites and American Inn. Both of those hotels are right in Forest Lake of 35E North. Don't worry if those hotels are already all booked up, which they most likely will, there are plenty of hotels in the surrounding cities: Lino Lakes, White Bear Lake, North Branch, Maplewood and for those of you who don't mind a half hour drive to the ceremony Woodbury has some great hotels.
We just want all of you to know ahead of time that we appreciate so much the help and support that we recieve from each one of you on a daily basis! Our families have been the greatest through all of this, and our friends have been just the same. As you may have figured out by now I, Dugan am the one writing most of this and I want to wish all of you the same happiness and good fortune that I have been blessed with over the last three years! I mean who would've thought that a girl like Angie would ever fall for such a shmuck like me!
